Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how McPherson AI Advisory, a business of Shevelle McPherson LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://www.thelegalboss.ai, register for Your First AI Employee Workshop (the "Workshop"), attend the live session, or communicate with us.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you register, we collect your first and last name and email address. We also collect anything you send us when you email us, ask a question during the Workshop, respond to a survey, or give us feedback.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe, and we do not see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of your payment and limited details about it, such as the product, amount, date, and the last four digits of your card. We send Stripe your name, email, and checkout details so we can match your payment to your registration.

Communications records. We keep records of the emails we exchange with you, including whether you opt in to or out of marketing messages. Our email tools may record whether you open our emails or click links in them.

Information collected automatically. Our site and its hosting provider may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited.

Workshop session information. The Workshop is a 90-minute live session on Zoom. Zoom may collect your name, email, join and leave times, chat messages, and your audio and video if you turn them on. If we record the session, the recording may include your name, voice, image, and anything you say, type, or share on screen.

2. How We Use Information

  • Process your payment and register you for the Workshop.
  • Send your receipt, Zoom details, reminders, and Workshop materials.
  • Deliver and improve the Workshop, answer questions, and provide support.
  • Follow up with you after the Workshop, including information about related programs and offers, such as The AI Boss Society, by email. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Use your feedback as described in our Terms of Service.
  • Keep our records, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Workshop and communicate with you, including Stripe (payments), Zoom (live session), HighLevel (customer relationship management and email), Google Workspace and Gmail (email), Lovable and our website host (site and checkout pages). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Other attendees, limited to what you choose to say or post in the live session or chat.
  • Authorities and advisors when required by law or to protect our rights, or with our attorneys, accountants, and insurers.
  • A successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

4. Recording and Replay

We may record the Workshop and may make a replay available to registrants. By attending, you consent to being recorded. If you do not want to appear in a recording, keep your camera and microphone off and avoid sharing personal details in chat.

5. Your Own Accounts and Data in the Workshop

During the Workshop you will set up an AI email agent connected to your own accounts and tools. Those tools are run by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not access your email account or inbox, and we do not receive the content of your emails through the Workshop. Please do not share confidential, privileged, client-identifying, or other sensitive information with us through the website, email, chat, or screen sharing. Use sample or non-sensitive content when following along.

6. Cookies

Our site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to operate the site and complete checkout. Our payment provider may use its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.

7. Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Workshop, communicate with you, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@shevellemcpherson.com. Transactional messages, such as receipts and Workshop access emails, will continue. You can also ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as required by those laws. We may need to keep some information to meet legal obligations.

10. Children

The Workshop is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
